Future leaders wanted

We’re looking for the next generation of leaders, who see the evolution of finance, and want to play a role in actively shaping this. Here, you’ll have exposure across all the different businesses, and build a skill set that will put you ahead of the curve.

What you’ll learn and experience

Within the first year of the role, you will have the opportunity to experience technical accounting in our Financial Control Office based in Adelaide. For the remainder of the program you will be based primarily at our Norwest Support Office (Sydney) working with commercial, support and operations finance teams.

What’s possible with Woolworths Group Finance

  • Support to complete your CA or CPA qualification.
  • In addition to your formal accreditation, you will complete rotation specific learning objectives that will develop your commercial and business acumen.
  • Experience first-hand the running of a commercial business.

This is a 3-year role, based in Sydney with a 6-month rotation in Adelaide.

We are passionate about retail; and deliver thought-leadership and professional, frank legal advice across diverse areas of expertise including Corporate and Commercial, Property, IP, Competition and Regulatory Matters, Public Liability, M&A, and Employment law.

What you’ll learn and experience

You will work alongside our highly experienced General Counsels and Lawyers who advise on some of the most interesting and complex legal issues in Corporate Australia.

We are also entering into an exciting association with Ashurst, a leading international law firm. Through this association we will provide opportunities for reverse secondments and participation in shared professional development programs as part of the extended Ashurst Graduate cohort.
